Monday Afternoon Update: We’re Just Getting Started — And So Is the Evidence

This is our Monday afternoon update to keep everyone informed on the latest developments in our case and what’s happening behind the scenes.

What began as one family sharing their experience has grown into something much bigger: a community of homeowners raising serious concerns, supported by professionals and backed by documentation.

This past week, those concerns became harder to ignore.

✅ More neighbors are coming forward.
✅ More licensed experts are weighing in.
✅ And most notably—the founder of Neal Communities, appeared on our street alongside two senior executives.

Not to take responsibility.
Not to offer documented resolutions.
But, in our view, because the pressure has become too visible—and silence was no longer an option.

This is no longer just about one home with problems.
It’s about repeated issues that are now being reported, investigated, and in many cases, confirmed by licensed professionals.

And now, it’s all coming into focus—one report, one photo, one code violation, one structural defect, one voice at a time.

Here’s where things stand today, as of March 31st, 2025:

🔴 183 Days since we can’t use our stove top, due to a mold-infested kitchen exhaust hood.

🔴 154 Days since we are waiting for Neal Communities own mold remediation protocol to be followed.

🔴 146 Days since we made Neal Communities aware of serious, potentially safety- and health-impacting defects—yet no inspections or repairs have been performed.

🔴 95 Days since their Chapter 558 legal response deadline passed. As of today, we have not received a proper written response.

⚖️ Where We Stand

Many of you have asked for updates on our own case.

Has there been a resolution? No.

Is Neal Communities communicating with you? All communication goes through legal counsel.

What is happening next? We have a scheduled mediation date under our contract terms. If that fails, we proceed to binding arbitration. We are diligently preparing for both and can’t wait to hold Neal Communities accountable and for justice to be finally served 💪

What happened at the PR Event on your street with the founder of Neal Communities? We chose not to attend. We’re long past handshakes, smiles, and carefully worded sympathy. Without written commitments and real action, words mean nothing to us.  That said, we’re fully aware that our campaign is what brought the founder and two senior executives to our neighborhood. We’ve spoken with several neighbors who attended the event. They described what we expected: polite conversation, verbal promises—but, once again, nothing in writing.

🧱 The More We Learn, the Worse It Gets

This past week wasn’t just productive—it was revealing. The deeper we dig into our own situation and the inspection and engineering reports shared by others, the clearer it becomes: in our view, this doesn’t appear to be a one-off error. Based on what we’ve seen so far, we believe this points to broader patterns of failure and a builder that may have never expected anyone to look this closely.

Here’s a quick update on what we uncovered—and what’s coming next:

✅ Gathering more Professional Evidence

Last week, we’ve been consulting directly with licensed engineers and certified truss specialists—the kind of professionals who testify in courtrooms, not just on job sites. Their inspection insights have been invaluable, and they too have confirmed what we already knew. This isn’t just shoddy construction. It’s structural compromise.

✅ Serious Roof Defects

In the coming days, we’ll be revealing the catastrophic condition of our roof. The damage is staggering:

🔧 Unauthorized “sistering” of trusses (according to the experts)
🛑 Missing lateral bracing
⚠️ Load distribution failure
💥 A cracked truss, visibly split under compression overload

These conditions, and many more, were identified and documented by licensed professionals. We are not speculating—we are reporting expert findings.

We will share photographic evidence, professional analysis, and inspection excerpts that speak louder than words. No family should ever have to live under a roof like this. And the fact that Neal Communities has been ignoring our roof situation since November is unacceptable.

(And don’t worry—we’ll get to the roof underlayment and tile issues in a future post. That one will be equally devastating.)

✅ There is a Pattern, and it’s Crystal Clear to Us

We’re not alone.

  • Multiple neighbors have now confirmed similar structural issues, roof defects, issues with their trusses, HVAC issues and mold, among many other construction defects.
  • Several have even dropped off their own inspection and engineering reports.
  • The overlap is impossible to ignore.

In our opinion, based on what we’ve reviewed so far, this does not appear to be an isolated incident. We are beginning to see what may be a repeatable pattern of construction issues across multiple properties.

✅ Upcoming Mandatory Mediation

We are more than prepared.

If you’ve read our blog, you’ve already seen a glimpse of our documentation. But behind the scenes? It’s deeper. Every defect, every expert opinion, court witness testimonial, every photo, every Florida Building Code citation—it’s all prepared, organized, and ready.

We’re not walking into mediation hopeful.
We’re walking in over-prepared and legally armed.

And if mediation fails, arbitration awaits—where this evidence enters the formal legal record.

We are not speculating. Every claim we’ve made is backed by professional inspections, expert reports, and documented communication. This is not a campaign of opinion—it’s a record of evidence.

✅ Google Search Results: We’re Rising

Even though we’ve only been live for just over a week, our organic search visibility is climbing fast.

People are already finding us by searching:
🔍 Neal Communities Reviews
🔍 Neal mold problems
🔍 Neal Communities Mold
🔍 Neal roof defects
🔍 Neal Florida Building Code Violations
🔍 Neal construction complaints

This is a major win.
Every click means someone is getting informed.

✅ And Speaking of Website Traffic…

👀 To our regular readers in Miami:

We see you. The late-night refreshes. The iPhones. The 3,000-click sessions and 8-minute reads. You scroll every line. You know every word. Analytics don’t lie.

So if you’re reading this—again—welcome back.
Your engagement is flawless. Truly, five stars.
But just remember:
We’re not posting for you.

We’re posting for the homeowners you failed.
For the neighbors you ignored.
For the people you underestimated—because we were “just homeowners.”

So while you quietly monitor us, we’ll keep publishing.

And every time you check in, remember:
You’re not controlling the story.
You’re just chasing it.

✅ What’s Coming Next — and Why This Is Just the Beginning

What we’ve shared so far is only a small part of what we’ve documented.
We’ve been methodical. We’ve been patient. And now, we’re just getting started.

This week, we’ll begin focusing on the Florida Building Code violations our licensed professionals have identified—clear, specific, and supported by evidence.

We’re not stopping.
We’re not slowing down.
And we’re definitely not going away.

The truth is coming—all of it.
And we’ll keep exposing it, one post at a time, until accountability is no longer optional.

✅ Google Street View: Gone Without a Trace

One more thing. Our street—which used to be visible on Google Street View, showing the construction phase—was mysteriously removed a few months ago.
We’re now actively investigating who filed that request to remove an entire street from public view.

We are not accusing anyone of any wrong-doing.

But when visibility disappears… we always ask:
Who benefits from the silence?

⚡️ Final Thought

This isn’t just a construction dispute. It’s a spotlight.

A spotlight on what happens when a builder underestimates the people they built for.
A spotlight on silence, deflection, and delays—while families live with mold and under roofs that licensed professionals have called compromised.

We didn’t start this to fight.
We started this to be heard.

But when answers didn’t come, and repairs didn’t happen, and basic health and safety was ignored—
We did what any responsible homeowner would do:

  • We documented everything.
  • We spoke the truth.
  • And we stood up.

Every claim we’ve made is supported by inspection reports, expert opinions, and public records. This isn’t speculation. This isn’t defamation.
This is documentation. This is evidence—and we’re not done yet.

To Neal Communities, or anyone watching from the sidelines:
This is what accountability looks like.

And we’re just getting started.

This is no longer just our fight.
It’s a reckoning for a builder who underestimated their customers.

To every homeowner watching this unfold:

  • Your story matters.
  • Your experience is valid.
  • And if you’re still waiting for answers— they’re coming.
